Nestled away in the quiet St James's lane, just under the Parkland Walk, is The Famous Royal Oak. A pub has stood on this site for over 200 years, serving the people of Muswell Hill and being a focal point for the local community. In an era when the traditional 'Local' is fast declining, we pride ourselves on being a family run pub, providing a warm welcome and friendly service.
QUIZ NIGHT
Every Thursday night Marcus the Quiz-Master runs a general knowledge quiz to test the very best. Start time is 9:15pm but arrive early, with a jackpot question worth anything up to £500, every quiz night is a busy night.

Birthday parties, wedding receptions, funerals, any special occasion. We're happy to accomodate - so contact us. Plus there's plenty of car parking space.

Regular live piano sessions with Eric. Guest bands booked for the big occasions and of course the regulars favourite our retro jukebox, brimming over with classics from the 1960's to the 00's.
